Arabic program, with the culture and thinking of the Arabian society designed to protect from Internet hazardous

A Multi-User Program:

• As a multi-user program, WALEEF grants each family member a unique settings especially for him/her; special settings for programs, websites and for his/her favorable pages.
• Main User can set fixed number of hours allowed to each user, to avoid "addicting" the internet, which enables him to decide the number of hours allowed according to the age of the user and his studying time.
• Each user has unique privileges, like changing his/her own settings.
• Each user has a list of his own, which include safe sites and programs allowed to surf the internet.

Electing Sites:

• WALEEF is based on 'prevention', so the Main User defines the sites/programs allowed for each user, which means he knows the list of allowed sites/programs for them.
• A list of useful and chosen sites in included in WALEEF, which is carefully classified according to the needs of each member of the family (kids, youths, mother, etc.) which makes a useful guide while surfing.
• Each allowed site within the program has unique settings, including showing/blocking images, flash files and etc., enabling the user to get the best of the site without being bothered by the ads, pop-ups and inappropriate pictures.
• WALEEF is a compatible with all browsing programs, you can add any new browser to his list to filter its materials and deal with it in the future as a browser.
• You can select a given type of files and consider it as a threat because of its destructive nature (morally and physically) like certain video files or zipped/executive files
• WALEEF tracks opened files, and gives you a full list of WHO opened it, WHEN opened and if it is being blocked or not, to keep the Main User informed about his family members activities.

Favorites:

• To enable more privacy for each family member, there is a semi-transparent window dedicated to the favorite files, you can drag and drop the link directly form the browser to this window to add to favorites.
• Favorites window is a unique "property" of each user, as it appear to the user who created it. He can hide it or locate it in a special spot on the screen and can decide what pages it contains.
• You can arrange the item of the favorites by dragging and dropping the selected files into it.

Controlling Programs:

• Waleef works as a fire wall so it can decide which programs are allowed to connect to the internet.
• Each internet-based program has its unique settings, including showing pictures and flash files, even if it is not a browser. So Waleef gives you the ability to show or block ads related to such a program, which may not be suitable for our Islamic society.
• You have a full control over the programs that have access to the internet, with each member of the family, to prevent risky use of chat programs or sharing files within young or teenagers, for example
• Influence of Paltalk rooms on young people isn't ignored as there are useful and damaging ones. Therefore, Waleef gives you settings of Paltalk rooms to allow certain ones and block others.

Easy Usage:

• Waleef doesn't need special settings to internet connection or to proxy nature.
• Setting Interface is easy, simple, and doesn't require proficiency in dealing with computers.
• When the program operates for the first time, a window will be shown and will ask about the Preliminary Settings which include all sides of the program. Come at first:The Main User Information, Add Users, and Add Programs, and Sites to ease application of user's favorable options at the start.
• Waleef operates automatically when turning on the PC. and a small icon will be shown next to the system clock. By clicking it with the mouse right or left buttons, you can access to most options of the program.
• Waleef presents an easy way to add sites, and programs to settings, as a small window opens when the user, who has the authority to change settings, log into a new site or unregistered program. It asks the user about allowing or preventing them, options related to them, and users allowed to deal with them. In the case of ordinary user, Waleef asks if this site or program should be required from the main user and accordingly save them in Require List to review later
• By just a click on options in programs, sites, and users lists inside Settings Panel, you can change the statue from allowance to prevention and vice versa, what considers an excessive ease in dealing with the lists. When you make a double click on a site or a program, an edit window will be appeared. In addition to buttons related to the lists for adding, deleting, and editing.

Additional Services:

• Waleef provided by additional services for user's help such as Prayer Times program, and Personal Agenda to remind you of your appointments, taking in consideration what the use of internet causes of abstraction from these things. Moreover, there are a Shut down Timer to shut down the PC. automatically when you leave it.
• Waleef provided by a group of hints include Quranic verses, Holy Hadith, and aphorisms which the user can add to them. These hints appear through a window opens in specific times as a reminder to avoid abstraction accompanied by surfing the internet.

Safety valve:

• Removing the program can be done only through the main user password, and removing the program files manually will cause a halt in dealing with the internet. Thus there is no way to manipulate to surpass the program or removing it.
• When there is an attempt to close the program, it works again automaticaly.
• The Settings Panel can not be reached to change settings except by users who are allowed to do that. Also, there is a possibility to grant some users partial privileges such as the ability to change, for example, program settings not the rest of settings.
• When you want to remove the program and reinstall it again for any reason, you can save settings in an external file to restore them, as they are, after installing or to apply them on other PCs.
