The international revolution of communications and information has caused a marvelous breakthrough in the cultural and knowledge world until the INTERNET which turns the global knowledge and information into an " international public library" opens at the fingers of its demanders. With that magic world, our youth and children became astonishly fascinated by it, while it can turns easily their world from courteous enjoyment and pleasure into dour dark and distress. What concerns our societies is how this great momentum of information on the internet can be used without its negative effects, especially "immorality" which is called in our societies "Pornography".
Therefore, with this serious swing that everyone fears of, it was necessary to attempt to offer a function that can maintain to the nation its structure and culture,especially in light of studies and reports that don't augur well because of a fascination of the provider and sensation to what is provided. We, in the "programming sphere", tried to present a function that we can put a successful solution through to reassure parents on the safety of their sons and daughters.
So the idea of providing intense protection to achieve that aim comes. At last, this program is a sociable one, and it is predicted to have a great echo through the Arab Muslim families,because it is the only program all over the world that authorizing the Arabic language, dealing with it,and launching from our original cultural foundations. We call it WALEEF; its Arabic meaning refers to the consecutive rains which is very optimistic to Arabs.
